GREETINGS, PITTSBURGH!
My name is Cory Buck and I am the owner and sole cleaner of Cleansburgh. I’ve lived in Pittsburgh for 11 years and after I bought a house in 2021, I decided that this city was home. As I learned quickly, every home needs a cleaner. Even if you clean your home on a regular basis, eventually you fall behind.
I offer deep cleaning and recurrent maintenance cleaning services in residential and small commercial spaces. Whether you want a comprehensive cleaning to rid the corners and surfaces in your home of dust or a focused floor-to-ceiling deep cleaning of a smaller area, I can attune each cleaning session to your particular needs so that each day’s work reflects your biggest concerns.
Cleaning projects fall into three basic categories: Standard Cleans, Deep Cleans and Special Projects. You’ll find more information on each on their pages and you’ll find some commonly asked questions down below. If you’d like to inquire straight away, you can find a contact card in the menu as well and I’ll reach out as soon as I can.
Welcome to Cleansburgh!
FAQs
-
It’s entirely up to you. The most popular increments with standard cleaning are two-week and four-week intervals. We recommend a deep cleaning every three to six months to address all areas of your home that you occupy on a regular basis.
-
I charge a flat hourly rate that falls between $45-55/hour depending on the equipment, travel and depth of clean required to do the job.
-
Yes I am!
-
That depends on how much of your home you want cleaned and the depth to which you’d like it clean. Houses of the same size often require different amounts of time depending on the amount of furniture, fixtures, appliances and surfaces. This is why a walkthrough with you is always crucial before the first clean so we can have a better idea of how long it will take to get your home as clean as you want it to be.
-
Great! You pay by the hour so I’ll start where you care about the most then go from there.
-
Great! Deep cleaning a room typically take twice the amount of time as standard cleaning it. If you wanted a deep clean of your bathroom, which usually takes 30-45 minutes, it would instead take 60-90 minutes since you’re doing the standard clean plus additional tasks.

Email info@cleansburgh.com. A walkthrough only takes ten minutes and it helps to determine what you need and how much that will cost.
-
Zero. I am a one-person cleaning crew. The advantages for you are communication and personalization. Every walkthrough and clean will be accompanied by a checklist and an email to confirm your satisfaction, which is guaranteed.
-
I already do for the most part though degreasing, toilet bowl cleaning and other heavy messes do require certain solvents and surfactants, the bulk of my cleaning is done with the power of steam and dish soap.
-
I use a Bissell Heavy Duty Steamer for most floor types as of now. It’s all water so no chemicals and it dries almost instantly. Steam sanitizes so your floors get clean without any additional risk. This is especially helpful on older wood floors with uncertain sealing properties.
-
I use a SEBO Felix Premium 1 upright vacuum. It has a HEPA filter with a 99% filtration rate to ensure that once dust is vacuumed up, it’s gone for good.
-
At this time, I am not set up to wash windows. I will happily wipe down the inside of any window, but I do not approach windows from the outside.
-
As of now, I also don’t clean carpets. I can treat stains on upholstery upon special request, but I do not currently offer comprehensive carpet cleaning.
